As the daughter of two artists she grew up in Vienna, Berlin and Crete, making her quite the multicultural person. From her grandmother, she learned the skills of a passionate seamstress. She studied ethnology combined with archeology and human biology. Her diploma thesis “Ritual clothing and shamans” takes her to Mongolia for field research. Symbolism and function in a performance, as well as the transformation possibilities that clothing enables its wearer, has fascinated her from an early age and continues to play an important role in her creative work today. With her artistic concepts she tries to create an interactive space for the interaction of science and art, social consciousness and personal experience. Over the last two decades, she has been able to develop original textile objects in a number of projects for handl.e pictures (e.g. Leadership Archetypes Fashion Show) or to teach artistic techniques as a team member.
